ORGAN DONATION

We always hear about the importance about donating organs, but what is really organ donation? This is the process which consists on the allowance of a person regarding the removing of his or her organ and the transplantation of this to another person.

An organ transplant is a surgical operation in which a failing or damaged organ in the human body is removed and replaced with a functioning one. In some cases an artificial organ is used.

The advantages are very evident, organ transplants are only completed if there's not other alternatives to improve someone's health. Because of this, it is said that donating organs is to give lives.
